In 1980, Guardian Hose Company captured the President's Trophy for the Best Appearing Company in Frederick County in the 46th Annual Frederick County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association parade in Rocky Ridge, Maryland. Junior GHC members are shown pulling the hose reel and marching behind it followed by the Senior Company members. GHC fire apparatus brings up the rear.
