The Guardian Hose Company Activities Building, located on our Carnival Grounds at 123 East Main Street in Thurmont is available for public use. The Activities Building is a modern, handicap-accessible, air conditioned structure that has a maximum seating capacity of 300 persons. An open floor plan with plenty of tables and chairs permit maximum flexibility for your event. Limited kitchen facilities are available, and our Activities Committee stands ready to assist you with food and beverage needs (or, if you so desire, you may handle any catering yourself). Looking for a hall for a wedding reception? A surprise wedding anniversary party? Consider our Activities Building. It is centrally located with ample parking, and our rental rates are very reasonable. Please contact us concerning use of the Activities Building as early as you can as available dates fill up rapidly. |
