D. S. Weybright - Perennial President
It started in 1939, when members of the Guardian Hose Company elected D. Sayler Weybright as their President. Mr. Weybright had long been a member of the local fire company and now he had been chosen to lead this group of dedicated men.
For the next 33 years Mr. Weybright was reelected as President. It was at the January meeting of 1973, that Mr. Weybright
relinquished the Presidential reins and turned them over to Donald Stitely. At
that time, Mr. Weybright was named the first President Emeritus of the
Guardian Hose Company. He served in this capacity until his death.
