The Activities Committee of the Guardian Hose Company, besides providing invaluable assistance at the scene of emergencies, has spearheaded several social events for the members of the Guardian Hose Company, their spouses, and their children. These events have proven to be of great success and have served well one of their stated objectives -- fostering improved morale among the membership. We greatly appreciate the Activities Committee and everything that they do for the fire company. For the past several years, the Committee has spearheaded a summer picnic for the Guardian Hose Company and our sister emergency services organization, the Thurmont Community Ambulance Service.
