Carnival Wrap Up The 2007 edition of the Guardian Hose Company Carnival has come and gone. Although the first few days of Carnival this year were very hot, we were fortunate enough to have dry weather -- now that Carnival is over, please bring on the much-needed rain! A list of winning chance tickets, along with the winners of parade awards, has been posted on this website. Photographs, courtesy of John Kinnaird, of both the parade and the fireworks display are available! Many, many thanks to John for his considerable investment, talent, and time to make these photographs available. We also would like to express our appreciation to all of the businesses in this community who assisted us as well.

WHEN: Monday, July 9, 2007 through Saturday, July 14, 2007 LOCATION: The Carnival is held on the fire company's Carnival Grounds on East Main Street in Thurmont, Maryland (opposite Memorial Park). map RIDES / MIDWAY: The Carnival's Midway and rides are provided by Majestic Midways of York, Pennsylvania. PARADE: The Parade will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2007 rain or shine. Information about placing an entry in the Parade, the Parade Rules, and the Parade Response Form is available here.
